Supporting the public sector with easy to implement, cost-effective data, security and cloud solutions.

30th September 2020 - Maple Networks are delighted to announce that public sector organisations can now find our services on the new G-Cloud 12 framework that has gone live this week.

G-Cloud 12, the latest iteration of the cloud services framework, creates a competitive marketplace for a range of cloud solutions with over 4,000 suppliers promoting over 30,000 services. The framework provides a standard basis for IT procurement and is designed to help public sector organisations acquire the services they need faster and from the most appropriate supplier.

As a next generation digital and IT service provider, Maple Networks deliver data, security and cloud solutions that are easy to implement, cost-effective and, most importantly, work for our customers. We have 23 services across the cloud support and cloud hosting categories on the framework. In the cloud support category, there are 21 services across:

  • Azure Sentinel
  • Office 365
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Digital transformation consultancy

Our two services in the cloud hosting category are the Hybrid Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Service and NetApp Cloud Services for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Cloud Volumes ONTAP – CVO, Cloud Volumes Service – CVS, Azure NetApp Files – ANF).

Hybrid SIEM Service – The Hybrid SIEM Service is built on a next generation remote logging security platform and offered to assist customers with improving their security awareness across their infrastructure and application environments. The service provides customers with remote collection and analysis of logs, using an industry-leading cloud native SIEM alongside proactive threat hunting and remediation support.

NetApp Cloud Services for AWS, Azure and GCP (CVO, CVS, ANF) – Our NetApp Cloud Services deliver secure, proven storage management services for AWS, Azure and GCP cloud storage. They combine data control with enterprise-class storage features for file shares and block-level storage serving networks-attached storage (NAS) and storage area networks (SAN) protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS, and iSCSI), Disaster Recovery, Backup, Archive, DevOps, Databases, or any other enterprise workloads.

“Our experience of working with both local government and healthcare organisations has taught us how important easy, effective procurement is when it comes to delivering citizen and patient outcomes. By making our services available on G-Cloud 12, we aim to ensure that IT and security teams can get access to the services and expertise they need when they need them.” said Jason Clark, CEO of Maple Networks.

He continued “We also know that digital transformation, ‘cloud-first’ and, particularly right now, cyber security, aren’t as easy as they might sound, so we’ve put together a selection of services to help customers stay focussed on those goals whilst keeping operations going and costs down.”
